Join the Team at Leesport Animal Hospital — a well-established, three-doctor small animal practice in the Leesport, PA. We pride ourselves on fostering strong relationships with our clients and their pets to enhance the quality of life for every patient.
Our supportive environment means you won’t be shouldering the hospital’s workload on your own — we currently have four experienced CVTs on staff who share the responsibilities and are ready to collaborate. As an CVT here, you’ll have the flexibility to participate in all aspects of surgery, dentistry, and general medicine or focus more deeply on the areas that fuel your passion. We’re fully equipped with advanced in-house technology to support exceptional patient care, including IDEXX chemistry machines, digital X-ray unit, portable digital dental X-rays, and comprehensive wellness, dental, and surgical capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
Support DVMs during exams, treatments, and procedures
Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, injections, radiographs, and EKGs
Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, updates, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient hospital workflow
Continue developing your skills in a structured, supportive environment
What We’re Looking For:
Active LVT/CVT/RVT license or currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician program
2+ years of clinical experience preferred
Strong anesthesia and technical skills
Team-oriented, dependable, and positive
Confident communicator with clients and staff

Requirements
