Orange County Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, Inc. (OCTCS) is seeking two motivated Physician Assistants to join our growing cardiothoracic surgery team. We are recruiting for one Operating Room Physician Assistant and one Cardiac Surgery Service Physician Assistant as part of our continued expansion and commitment to providing exceptional patient care throughout Orange County.

OCTCS is the largest private cardiothoracic surgery practice in Orange County, California, with three primary practice locations serving North, Central, and South Orange County. Collectively, our programs perform approximately 650 open-heart surgeries annually.

Our team currently consists of five surgeons. In addition to routine cardiothoracic surgery, OCTCS has one of the largest practices in minimally invasive valve surgery, atrial fibrillation surgery, and aortic surgery in the region. We also operate three structural heart programs (TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip), an ECMO program, and are developing an LVAD/mechanical circulatory support program.

Available Positions

Operating Room Physician Assistant

• Second assist in cardiac surgical procedures
• Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting experience a mast

Cardiac Surgery Service Physician Assistant or nurse practitioner

• Daily inpatient management of cardiothoracic surgery patients in CICU and on wards
• Coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up
• Assist in maintaining continuity of care across multiple hospital sites

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification required
• California PA license .
