THE ROLE

We are an established outpatient mental health practice in Mifflin County looking for a psychiatric PA-C or CRNP to see patients in our Lewistown office. You would carry an existing panel of adult and adolescent patients for medication management and evaluations, working alongside our physician and our current PA.

This is outpatient work with a predictable schedule. No call. No weekends. No hospital rounding. No inpatient coverage.

We can build the schedule around you — two days a week through five, whatever fits your situation. If you are currently working elsewhere, semi-retired, or looking to reduce hours without leaving clinical practice, we are genuinely flexible about how the days are arranged.

WHAT WE OFFER
$62.5 an hour — $130,000 a year at full time, prorated proportionally for a part-time schedule.

Direct collaboration with a psychiatrist; supervision and consultation always available.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Current Pennsylvania license as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA-certified) or as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one
Psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred — but we will train the right candidate, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Comfortable working in person with patients who often have no other access to psychiatric care in this county

WHY THIS PRACTICE

Mifflin County has very few psychiatric prescribers. The patients on our panel have, in many cases, no realistic alternative within an hour's drive. If you want work where the caseload is clinically interesting and the impact on the community is obvious, this is that kind of job.

Requirements
