The Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Flow Systems and Water Distribution business unit. This role focuses on data-driven analysis of inventory and delivery performance and provides insights that support the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. The analyst investigates discrepancies, conducts root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and overall supply chain performance.
This position will be located in Erie, PA.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyze material resource plans to enhance product flow, optimize order fulfillment, and minimize inventory investment while meeting customer expectations.
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels across the region/BU using analytical forecasting methods, sales trends, and supply chain best practices to support demand requirements.
- Support available-to-promise modeling and collaborate with customer service to communicate inventory capabilities to customers.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis, identify process gaps, and recommend corrective actions for service centers and representative warehouses.
- Develop, automate, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility into inventory performance, forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational KPIs across Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
- Perform data analysis on inventory movement, customer demand, and delivery performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support demand forecasting and planning initiatives by analyzing trends, monitoring forecast performance, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Utilize Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools to streamline reporting processes, improve data visibility, and support business decision-making initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special projects, reporting enhancements, and ad-hoc analytical requests as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics or other related field. or relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in inventory planning/forecasting/sales analysis
- Strong skillset to lead and facilitate meetings with a diverse audience, quickly synthesizing information to help drive consensus and actionable items
- Working knowledge of demand planning/forecasting/inventory management software
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Prioritizes workload and maintains accuracy in all work while managing multiple tasks / projects with adherence to critical deadlines
- Drives to find the best solutions, incorporating innovation and efficiency improvements where feasible
