Description
One Pennsylvania, is seeking an Individual Giving Manager who will serve as
the primary front-line fundraiser for the Development office. Reporting to the
Director of Development, this position will actively prospect, cultivate and
solicit individual donors for annual, planned, and special project gifts.
Position Summary
The Individual Giving Manager will report to the Director of Development and
will work closely with One PA’s Grants Manager, Data Manager and the Fundraising Committee of the board. In addition to practical experience in
donor prospecting, cultivation and stewardship, the ideal candidate has
excellent client success skills and has a track record of balancing tasks and
projects from multiple work streams. This position will supervise the volunteer
coordinator(s) and leverage volunteer opportunities for donor cultivation.
We estimate that candidates will have at least one year of relevant
experience, but our review of candidates for this role will focus on whether
they can fill the needs of the position, not years of experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a personal portfolio of high level ($5,000+) donors and prospects
Create individual engagement, stewardship plans, and giving goals for each individual donor based on giving history, relationship, and the organization’s knowledge of the donor’s giving potential
Develop new methods of donor cultivation and outreach to help fulfill One Pennsylvania’s mission and vision, including leveraging digital engagement and list acquisition tools
Partner with Director of Development, Data Manager and Grants Manager, to enhance relationships and create greater fundraising and outreach possibilities
Work with the Director of Development to identify planned giving, reserve fund, and major donor prospects
Identify and manage opportunities to include board members and colleagues from across the organization in donor cultivation efforts
Coordinate all fundraising outreach and planning for member-led house parties and other donor-related events
Craft effective proposals, reports, acknowledgements, and other donor-related and/or board-facing communications.
Create Moves Management system and participate in maintaining an organized system for donor stewardship by updating constituent records, as appropriate.
Develop and maintain systems for projecting, tracking and coding revenue, including individual gifts, institutional gifts and other revenue.
Collaborate with Strategic Advancement Director, Fundraising Manager, and program directors, to develop and update organizational and program budgets.
Collaborate with Fundraising Manager to develop and maintain systems for grant administration.
Able to work some nights and very occasionally on weekends
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
One to three years of relationship building and front line solicitation or sales experiences is essential.
Understanding of One Pennsylvania’s mission, values and the ability to be an effective spokesperson.
Demonstrated success cultivating and stewarding strong relationships with donors and prospects leading to successful realization of funding goals
Experience with annual fund campaigns including direct mail and online solicitation
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a fine-tuned attention to detail who can work independently and with a team to set priorities, plan for, manage, and quickly adapt as necessary to implement multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience in budget management
Database experience (Every Action preferred)
Work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Salary and Benefits
Salary will be determined according to a salary scale that takes into account
years’ experience, location, job category, and other factors, but is expected to
start at $60,000.
Benefits package includes a fully paid health, dental and vision insurance

Requirements
This job requires the ability to communicate, exchange information and
operate a computer for extended periods of time. It also requires infrequent
travel and the ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends or long hours.
