OverviewThe General Manager/Head Golf Professional is responsible for assisting the Owner and supporting the department heads with managing and overseeing all elements of the Club's activities, resulting in an exceptional Club experience for all club users.

Riverview is a daily-fee facility located in Easton, PA and plays host to 30,000+ rounds throughout the year. The club features the Sand Trap Pub for casual dining and The Villa on the Green, a premier venue for weddings, parties, and corporate outings.

Experience Required
- Recommended experience in leading a golf/club operation.
- Prior experience in all facets of Club and Golf operations, including inventory and financial control; employee motivation and training; golf instruction; and tournament management.
- F&B Management : Experience managing multi-unit food and beverage operations, including casual pub settings and high-volume banquet/wedding venues.
- Event Execution : Proven track record in overseeing the sales, planning, and execution of weddings and large-scale outings (up to 200 guests).
- Working knowledge of golf course maintenance and turf management.
- Understand and lead the clubhouse and F&B department with service standards and à la carte dining.
- Expertise in golfing rules and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of typical club procedures, standards of practice, and training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, and tournament software required.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Administration
- Oversees the Club staff to ensure day-to-day activities in all departments are consistent with Club policy.
- Assists with recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of the golf, clubhouse, and F&B staff.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe working environment, with emphasis on promoting employee health and safety.
- Ensures that all staff are presentable, well-groomed, and in established uniforms at all times.
- Updates and maintains the golf and event pages on the Club's website and contributes articles to the Club newsletter.
Golf Operations & Instruction
- Manage all aspects of the golf program, including club fitting and repair services.
- Monitors and "works" the range to provide member assistance and ensure range standards.
- Provides quality private lessons and group clinics.
- Provides and interprets golf policies, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains an attractive, orderly appearance in and around the pro shop, practice facilities, and other golf-related areas.
- Devotes a reasonable amount of time to play golf with members of all skill levels.
- Represents the Club in area professional events including local, state, or national events with the approval of ownership.
Food, Beverage & Event Management
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations of the Sand Trap Pub, ensuring a high-quality casual dining experience for golfers and the public.
- Event Leadership: Oversee the execution of weddings and banquets at The Villa on the Green, supporting the house team and events department.
- Beverage Program : Manage the club's liquor license compliance, including inventory, pricing, and on-course beverage cart services.
- Kitchen Collaboration : Work with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus, outing packages, and specialty event catering (e.g., Easter Brunch, Holiday parties).
- Tournament Coordination: Assist in the coordination of tournaments, preparing tee sheets, pairings, and scoreboards, while ensuring F&B needs for outings are met.
Member & Guest Relations
- Maintains a friendly, hospitable, and helpful attitude with all members, guests, and fellow employees.
- Enforces the Club's rules and regulations and ensures that the outside services staff is familiar with these rules.
- Avails him/herself to directly assist in the furtherance of member satisfaction and the overall "Riverview Experience."
