Emergency Medicine Regional Medical Director -

About the Role:

• Supervise all emergency medicine site directors within Central PA
• Serves as a member of various committees as appointed and agreed upon
• Measure, assess and optimize departmental operational efficiencies
• Assists with teaching activities in Emergency Department as UPMC Harrisburg is home to a 3 - Year Emergency Medicine residency program with 6 residents per class
• Strong collaboration with STAT MedEvac with regional emergency response

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM or ABOEM
• Passion for teaching and delivering compassionate, high-quality care
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on personalized care and positive outcomes
• Licensed full-time Emergency Medicine Physician and obtain active staff privileges
