Holy Spirit Health System is a community Catholic Health System sponsored by the Sisters of Christian Charity to carry out the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to all in need. We provide high quality, ethically-guided and cost-effective health services in a caring, patient-focused environment to develop healthy communities in the greater Harrisburg area and South Central Pennsylvania.

A 316-bed, not-for-profit community hospital, Holy Spirit Hospital is situated in an ideal market and is well known regionally for its mission and excellence in health care. The hospital is the anchor for Holy Spirit Health System, which has over 2,800 employees, net revenues of approximately $283 million, and outstanding facilities, including a 140,000 square foot cardiac care facility. Holy Spirit Hospital provides a full spectrum of care to the residents of central Pennsylvania, including inpatient and outpatient hospital-based services, primary care physician practices, and inpatient sub-acute care.

Holy Spirit Health System was named one of the “Best Places to Work in PA” in 2011 for the third year in a row. Holy Spirit Hospital was also named “Best Places to Work in PA” in 2010, 2009, 2004 and 2003. Holy Spirit Hospital was voted "Simply the Best Hospital" for the fourth year in a row in Harrisburg Magazine's 2011 readers' poll. Holy Spirit Hospital also was named "Simply the Best" in 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2004.
