Responsibilities
1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
Starting Pay Rate: $27.23/hr
Pay Grade: HR010

Now hiring for a Storekeeper/Shipper/Receiver at our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Participating in scheduled inventory counts to verify stock levels and ensure accuracy.
- Conducting physical counts of materials and products, cross-referencing with system records to identify discrepancies.
- Receiving, transporting, filling orders and delivery of material received.
- Examining shipment contents and comparing with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Picking, packing, sealing, labeling, or affixing postage to prepare materials for shipping for internal and external customers, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
- Picking up finished product and distributing to internal departments and replenishing outgoing pallets as necessary.
- Supporting production associates with various types of work, including moving material, picking material, and performing related tasks
- Conferring or corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Communicating with vendors, internal customers, and all other drivers.
- Preparing product or materials for shipment to include physically moving, shrink wrapping, and applying address labels as well as ensuring ergonomic consideration is met.
- Creating documents including freight and bills of lading, shipping orders and delivery notes using various computer programs including SAP and UPS Worldship and ShipExec shipping software, Microsoft Outlook email, and Teams Software.
- Loading product from staging areas to trailers according to priority, First In/First Out, and ensure these staging areas and lanes are kept organized.
- Train on hazardous material shipment and Department of Transportation regulations and demonstrate knowledge when necessary - may schedule trucks for shipping.
- Complete and maintain reports and other departmental paperwork on time.
- Meeting all position certification criteria is a must.
Qualifications
Ability to:
- operate a computer and perform standard software operations including demonstrated knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds including bar stock without assistance.
- effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
- concentrate on detailed information for prolonged periods of time.
- use hand tools.
- work independently with minimal supervision.
- obtain Basic and Advanced Hazardous Material certification.
- operate a fork truck, pallet jack, lift crane, and shrink wrap machine.
- unload trucks.
- plan, schedule, coordinate work and organize daily activities in a team environment.
- act independently, take personal initiative, and follow through to completion.
- work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- work in a team environment.
- operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, ANSI 241 approved safety shoes, and other PPE as required.
- possess the willingness and ability to work flexible schedules or overtime based on fluctuating business needs.
- meet the physical demand job requirements for this position.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months previous storeroom/warehouse experience.
- Minimum of three months past manufacturing/shipping/warehouse related experience
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Six months or more of previous shipping/storeroom/warehouse experience
- Previous customer facing experience
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
