The Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery Manager Role
We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Senior Manager, Portfolio Delivery Manager to lead our growing project management function. In this dual-role, you will both manage key portfolio initiatives to drive accelerated business vlaue and lead a team of project and change managers, guiding them in the successful delivery of projects that impact Product, Customer Success, Sales, Finance and more.
You'll be responsible for ensuring executional rigor, building scalable portfolio management practices, and fostering a high-performing team culture in a dynamic SaaS environment.

- Lead and mentor a team of Project and Change Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support.
- Build a strong culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and success metrics for project managers across the company.
- Scale the team as needed through recruiting and onboarding new talent.
Portfolio Delivery
- Drive complex, cross-functional programs from planning to execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to define, deliver and track portfolio optimization.
- Manage risks, resolve conflicts, and communicate portfolio status to executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-team planning and ensure alignment across roadmaps, dependencies, and deliverables.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Establish and standardize best practices, tools, and frameworks for accelerated delivery management (e.g., agile, hybrid, waterfall).
- Improve project intake, prioritization, and tracking workflows in alignment with business needs.
- Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.
- Champion the adoption of project management tools and dashboards.
We're looking for a teammate with:
Required:
- 610 years of experience in operational management in a SaaS, tech, or data-driven environment.
- 2+ years of people management experience, ideally leading project/program managers or similar roles.
- Core understanding to critical business processes and operating models
- Strong track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a bias toward action and clarity.
- Experience working in a data analytics or enterprise SaaS company, an asset.
- Background working with technical teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Data Science), an asset.
- Familiarity with agile, scaled agile (SAFe), or hybrid delivery frameworks, an asset.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications, an asset.

Salary and Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $175,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
This position is eligible for comprehensive benefits, including - but not limited to - medical, dental, and vision coverage life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, paid parental / maternity leave, participation in a 401(k) program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
