The School of Business (Pitt Business) at the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow based in Pittsburgh to work on original research with Associate Professor David Lebel on topics of leadership and related topics in micro Organizational Behavior.
DESCRIPTION: The fellowship is funded by the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership. The expected start date for the position is August 2026 and will continue for 1 to 3 years, with a flexible duration based on the Candidate and faculty preference.
The Candidate will have opportunities to collaborate on research projects with faculty and doctoral students in the Organizations & Entrepreneurship area while continuing to develop their own research.
Emphasis will be on the ability of the post-doc to manage, collect, and analyze data and create publication-ready manuscripts for key academic outlets. The post-doc will also engage with the Center and assist with related activities. Support is available to attend at least one national research or professional conference annually.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Candidate's doctorate can be in any relevant field to organizational behavior with preference given to degrees in organizational behavior or psychology. Strong analytic skills are required and should be detailed in the Candidate's application. Experience researching and knowledge of leadership, ethics, emotions, and/or employee voice is preferred. Candidates should have some experience in publishing and other research-related activities. The salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 (depending on qualifications) plus full benefits for the 12-month period.
