| General Description | The Art Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty in Art for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Community College of Philadelphia seeks a full-time, tenure-track Art Instructor or Assistant Professor, starting in Fall 2026. We are seeking a dynamic educator passionate about shaping the future of our department and the College. In this role, you will teach courses in Painting and Drawing, engaging students with diverse interests in art and design while supporting their development of essential skills for academic and professional success. As an integral part of our faculty, you will facilitate student learning through effective instruction, assessment, and hands-on activities. Your commitment to promoting student success will extend beyond the classroom, as you actively participate in the intellectual life of the department and the College. You will maintain a strong presence by meeting scheduled classes and office hours, ensuring open communication with students and colleagues. Your expertise will help you develop and enhance curriculum that aligns with departmental objectives, while your collaborative spirit will foster a positive learning environment.
