Become part of a well-established, 25-year practice consisting of 3 MDs and 5 ODs, now expanding to add an additional MD and OD. Our practice is experiencing exceptional growth and demand—we perform:

-5,000+ cataract surgeries annually
-150+ corneal transplants per year
-Thousands of SLT/YAG laser procedures
-A robust refractive surgery volume (LASIK, PRK, ICL)
-The highest number of corneal crosslinking procedures in the Pittsburgh region

Our newly opened 12-lane flagship office in Wexford—a premier northern suburb of Pittsburgh—features a state-of-the-art 3-room Office-Based Surgery Suite (OBSS) where we currently perform 140 cataract surgeries per month in addition to refractive and CXL procedures. We also operate three conveniently located satellite offices within easy commuting distance of the city.

Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled surgeon to assume an immediate volume of cataract surgery. While our preference is for a cornea-trained surgeon, we are open to considering an exceptional general ophthalmologist.

-For cornea specialists: significant volumes of anterior segment and corneal transplant surgeries are readily available.
-Training is available for LASIK/PRK, ICL implantation, and corneal crosslinking for those interested.
-Once established with surgical volume, opportunities to operate in our OBSS are available and encouraged.

We are a surgically focused practice with strong OD collaboration and a well-established, loyal referral network. Excellent communication skills—with both patients and referring providers—are essential. Call is minimal and low-intensity, and our schedule supports a healthy work–life balance.
