Partnered with a hospital in northwestern Pennsylvania with an opening for an OB/GYN to provide locum coverage.

Opening Overview:

• Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (Friday 8a-Tuesday 8a), specific dates
• Expected Patient Volume: 2 or fewer deliveries
• Will only be called in for mother/baby in distress or c-sections
• Midwives take first call
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, fish along the Allegheny River, explore a charming downtown, and bike along peaceful rail trails.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered OB/GYN Pennsylvania state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited OB/GYN program
• One year of work experience as a OB/GYN
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
