SUMMARY:
The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing organizational development programs aimed at enhancing employee performance, skills, and knowledge. This role plays a key part in identifying training needs, creating engaging learning content, and ensuring alignment between employee growth initiatives and company goals.
This is a full-time, remote-based position with operating hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern Time (EST).
Applicants within commuting distance to our Broomall, PA office will be preferred, however qualified candidates based anywhere in the U.S. are strongly encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learning Strategy Development: Create and implement the organization's learning and development strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Training Program Design: Develop and manage high-quality training programs, workshops, and e-learning courses that address current and future skills gaps.
- Talent Development: Work closely with leadership and HR teams to identify key talent and create personalized development plans to ensure growth and career progression.
- Performance Evaluation: Measure the impact of learning initiatives by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee growth, productivity, and engagement.
- Onboarding: Lead the design and execution of comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure successful integration into the company.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of current learning programs and update or enhance them to keep pace with industry trends and organizational changes.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external training providers and manage relationships with vendors for specialized learning programs or tools.
- Budget Management: Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance: Ensure all training programs comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Technology Integration: Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to deliver innovative, scalable learning solutions.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting training programs and encouraging participation across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development or a similar role
- Proven experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Certifications in training and development (CPTD, SHRM, etc.) are a plus
SKILLS AND COMPETENTCIES:
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with performance management and talent development initiatives
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Traditional office environment with low-to-moderate office noise (computers, phones and business conversations). The position may be remote from main offices which requires high-speed internet connection and a distraction-free work environment conducive to continuous work and provides for confidentiality.
- May require flexibility in hours.
- May require minimal travel.
