FT Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

Responsible for effectively assisting with the day-to-day operations of the event and party rental deliveries and pick-ups, loading of trucks, warehouse organization and inventory, and assisting customers with loading and unloading of rentals.

Responsibilities:

Assist with  event and party deliveries/pick-ups, including but not limited to: a) Review of outgoing reservation orders, pulling from inventory, assuring items are clean, all parts included, instructions are included; b) pack truck to assure items are secure; c) Deliver/pick-up items to/from appropriate customer locations by taking the most cost effective and safest route available; d) set up tents and inflatables to meet PA standards; e) obtain customers signatures and collect any monies due (if needed); f) report any mechanical issues of the fleet to manager; g) maintain clean fleet
Assisting with back warehouse including but not limited to: a) The returns and cleaning of all tables, chairs, inflatables, tents and games; b) Inspect for quality control after cleaning; c) Place cleaned inflatable games and tents on shelves; d) Notify manager of any broken or missing items; e) Maintain warehouse work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition
Perform inventory bi-annually and make appropriate adjustments in Inventory Software System to ensure accurate count
Anything else requested by supervisor

Qualifications:

Must be organized and focused on tasks
Able to consistently lift 50 lbs plus
Able to operate equipment/forklift as needed
Must be courteous and respectful of all customers, co-workers and vendors
Excellent customer service skills
Able to analyze, solve problems and make decisions according to needs of customers, co-workers and vendors
Able to read and communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing

Ability to drive a forklift
Possesses mathematical skills
Cooperates with customers, co-workers and vendors
Maintains professional language and manners. Communicates clearly, effectively and promptly
Offers suggestions that improve efficiency in daily operations
Exhibits personal responsibility in areas such as attendance, tardiness, flexibility and time management
Contributes to safety and security being aware of policies and reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment on a timely basis
Attends regular meetings
Follows all company safety standards and Employee Services policies
