We are seeking a Financial Center Manager to join our Reading PA, West Lawn team.
Responsibilities
Accountable for leading the sales and service function for designated Financial Service Center(s). This will include sales leadership, tracking individual results, metrics, pipeline management with coaching and developing sales skills of branch staff and aggressive business development in their market.
60% Manage and Oversee Financial Center - 40% Business Developing
- Develop a strong knowledge of Univest's consumer and commercial products and services
- Motivate and coach staff to work as a team in order to achieve assigned goals
- Develop and implement effective sales and acquisition strategies
- Coach, evaluate and develop staff with career path and succession planning focus
- Generate and maintain expected sales and performance goals
- Monitor and maintain branch profitability
- Identify and develop prospective leads for new business
- Cultivate existing business relationships
- Partner with other lines of business to formulate selling strategies for prospective and existing customers
- Represent the bank in various civic and community functions
- Expected to join and actively participate in at least one civic or non-profit organization
- Expected to periodically participate in bank-sponsored events and community activities
- Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalency
- NMLS registration within regulated guidelines
- Sales experience with proven results
- Strong written/verbal/organizational skills
- Demonstrated independent decision-making skills and effective delegation
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisory ability
- Demonstrated high performance in sales, customer service, business development, and leadership
- Advanced knowledge of consumer and business lending and credit processes preferred
- Ability to work in an accurate and organized manner to effectively manage related-job pressures and deadlines
- Ability to delegate and manage in a multi-office environment, if applicable
- Previous experience with MS Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to coach and develop a staff
- Community/non-profit involvement
- Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress
- Successful completion of the Univest University Advanced Leadership Certificate Program within 12 months of hire
Wage Range:
The salary for this position starts at $72,500.00.
