The PA Primary Care Career Center was founded to match up primary care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and more) with organizations that provide primary care services. We connect candidates to the most compatible opportunities and communities in which to live and work.

Scranton Primary Health Care Center is a Federally Qualified Health Care Center, located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Our Center has grown over the past 45 years to provide services in internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, a prenatal clinic and social services including an outreach to the area's homeless population along with a dental clinic. Services are provided at our main office at 959 Wyoming Avenue, along with our two satellite offices that were opened in the fall of 2017; Family Medicine Clinic at 425 Alder Street, and Student Health Clinic at Lackawanna College, both in the city of Scranton.  

Role Overview 

Scranton Primary Health Care Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the residents of Scranton and the surrounding area, is seeking a family physician with the passion and desire to deliver excellent primary care to our deserving but underserved population. Scranton health center has a long history of serving our community, and we want someone who is interested in continuing our tradition while finding new and better ways of increasing health care access. As a family physician at Scranton health center, you will have the backing of our excellent management team and a dedicated board of community members and leaders. We will give you the autonomy and resources you need to deliver the highest level of care. A team of mid-level clinicians plus clinical and administrative support staff will work with you. State and federal loan repayment programs are available to supplement your competitive salary and superior benefit package.
