Current Opening
This open faculty position offers a regular, full-time, 9-month appointment, with primary teaching obligations during the core academic year from August – May. The successful candidate is responsible for a workload of 24 credit hours or equivalent per academic year, and will teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in the Business curricula, covering Finance and related subjects.
Faculty are expected to have a regular presence on campus to engage with students both inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, this position is required to be onsite 5 days per week; to participate in and remain available for meetings/committee work, to advise students academically, hold regular office hours, and assist with Departmental initiatives, College events and other activities which may occur at times outside of the assigned/regular teaching schedule.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline required. ABD candidates will be considered if completion of Ph.D. is within one year of date of hire. Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is desired. Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience teaching Finance courses at the collegiate level is strongly preferred. Significant work experience in the fields of business and/or Finance is also preferred. The ideal candidate is committed to applying active learning strategies in the classroom, participating in curriculum development, and utilizing online/hybrid teaching modalities.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
