CAMP LOHIKAN in the Pocono Mts.
Camp Lohikan is a coed resident summer camp located in northeast Pennsylvania. Our campers range in age from 6 to 15. We operate 65+ Arts, Sports, and Adventure Activities on a daily basis and our facilities are extensive. We are located in the Pocono Mts. of northeastern Pennsylvania in the village of Lake Como, about a 2.5-hour drive from New York City.
Camp Lohikan has been operated by the Buynak family since 1957. We are a warm, welcoming camp community dedicated to caring for our campers and staff. Our goal is to provide an environment of support and encouragement where children will try new things and grow in the process. We are searching for individuals who are kind and willing to put kids first at all times. Click here for more camp information.
Camp Lohikan is hiring medical staff professionals (EMT's nurses, doctors, RNs, LPNs) for the summer camp season extending from June 16 through August 24th. Employment is available for 2, 4, 6, 8 week periods. Medical staff members are provided private accommodations. Family accommodations are also available. Children of medical staff members are accepted into the program TUITION-FREE. Medical Staff Members staff the camp's Health Center. The camp medical staff is responsible for administering medication, basic first aid, determining when a child should be seen by the camp doctor, and handling medical situations. Our health center is staffed with 5 to 7 RNs, a camp doctor, infirmary assistants, and a health services manager, all of whom live on campgrounds.

We pay the BEST salaries to recruit the BEST staff!
Nothing is more important than our staff and we know it. If you are a hard-working individual who enjoys children, you may be just the person we're searching for. Staff members must be able to put kids first at all times. It is also essential that staff members be strong role models for our campers. And because we're working with kids, we have strict policies in many areas including alcohol, smoking, vaping, curfew, etc. While it is preferable that our staff members have some experience working with children, this is not a prerequisite. Many program areas require skills and certifications to safely operate and this is a priority.

400+ SUMMER CAMP JOBS AVAILABLE!
We have over 400 summer camp jobs available. Some jobs are highly skilled positions (e.g., Flying Trapeze Instructor, Horseback Riding Instructor, Gymnastics Instructor, Tennis Instructor, etc.), others require child care experience (e.g., Division Director, Group Leader, General Cabin Counselor), and then there are jobs where you will receive all of the necessary training at camp. If you are compassionate, hard-working, and an excellent role model, we have a job for you! Click here for an application.
