Job Summary

We are actively seeking dedicated DSPs/Caregivers to provide In-Home & Community Support, Companion Services, Community Participation Support, and Respite Services. Various hours are available to meet different scheduling needs.

We have immediate needs in the following areas:

Honesdale, PA
Hawley, PA
Lake Ariel, PA
Waymart, PA
Responsibilities and Qualifications

Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational areas.
Assist clients in participating in leisure and recreational activities.
Maintain service and activity schedules as outlined in treatment plans, and report on health and safety objectives.
Provide respite and companionship to offer relief for families or primary caregivers.
Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines.
Participate in initial and ongoing training and staff development activities.
Demonstrate competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Work independently in community settings or the client’s home.
Address personal care needs as necessary, based on individual client requirements.
Exhibit passion and experience in supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) — preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
CPR/First Aid Certification training provided.
