Univest is hiring a Commercial Credit Analyst Intern to join our Credit Department for Summer 2026! This hybrid position combines in-office collaboration at our Souderton location with remote flexibility, offering an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing financial statements, assessing creditworthiness, and supporting commercial lending decisions. As an intern, you'll work closely with experienced credit analysts, assist with risk evaluations, and contribute to projects that impact real business relationships. This program is designed to help you develop analytical skills and build a strong foundation for a career in commercial banking.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (hybrid).
Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including Univest Code of Conduct
Organize relevant financial data. Spread and analyze audited, reviewed and company prepared financials in addition to corporate and personal tax returns and personal financial statements
Prepare cash flow charts, test covenants, and determine collateral coverage position
Complete financial research as directed for portfolio credit risk management
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including Univest Code of Conduct
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Current college student with field of study in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
Understanding of financial statement analysis and succinct business writing
Proficient in Microsoft tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Possess strong organizational, analytical and communications skills.
Wage Range:
The salary for this position is $20 per hour
